Fine dining in Syacuse is not always easy to find. This place is worth the money. The wait staff are finely groomed and knowledgeable of all the sophisticated ingredients and nuances. Definately makes for a romantic evening in the dining room section.

Beautifully restored mansion is a lovely surprise in Fayetteville. Amazing fried chicken special on Monday evenings. Pork chop special looked great as well.

My most favorite restaurant in the world. Everything is so good. From the house salad, to the appetizers, to the food. Even the burger they offer is amazing. The bread and butter is Delish. Service is always great too!!! I miss this place so much when I am not in town.

Fantastic food and service as always

I rarely write a review after returning from a restaurant. But the experience here was so disappointing I have to. First, props to the service. It could not have been better. The food, however, was utterly disappointing. The vegan Risotto was served lukewarm and unseasoned. Ditto the chicken with mashed potatoes. Our guests say the duck and sirloin was good, but their countenance said otherwise. Additionally, the room, though private, was poorly lit, like in an Edgar Allan Poe story, creating an almost oppressive atmosphere. Additionally, the plates were old and bulky, like public school cafeteria service ware. Dinner was a special occasion for my family and we could not have been more disappointed with the quality of the food. It was mediocre, yet we're talking Arad Evans, a Fayetteville establishment. We will not return for a very long time, for we could have had twice the quality in a much more charming ambiance at several downtown restaurants. Crestfallen in Fayetteville.

The food and service here used to be impeccable. What has been allowed to come out of the kitchen now is beyond disappointing.

Always great food and even better service.

Great food and Ambiance - beautifully decorated old mansion. Tables are fairly close together so small talk in hushed tones is prevalent. Service is quick and servers are friendly. Recommended.

Nice place and friendly staff. Food was good but $$$. Burger was tiny with a couple of fries and stuffed peppers were size of cherry tomatoes and one order was only six. Peach pie was individual size.

Great food and ambience, tempered by being the location of one of the worst decisions of my life

This place is phenomenal! Took the wife out for a nice Anniversary dinner and was not disappointed. The menu has a decent selection with some daily specials thrown in. We both went with seafood this go around and it was well-prepared and delicious! I can't wait to go back but the price point makes this an "every once in a while" kind of place. But if you're looking for a quiet, excellent dinner this is the place for it. Thanks for an excellent meal!

Tonight was our first visit here (celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary!). Everyone we encountered was more than accommodating. Carly (our waitress), was patient and attentive. Even bringing us a special dessert at the end of our dinner. I highly recommend Arad Evans and cam can't wait to return! Their outside seating area with fire pit looks inviting!!

The restaurant was somewhat difficult to find given the sign was barely lit up. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice. We had our own private room in what looked and felt like someone's home. My impressions of the food were mixed. The escargot was some of the worst I've ever had. The chicken and sweet potatoe entree was very tasty. My dinner companions had the veal, which they all really enjoyed. The prices were reasonable considering the ambiance of the facility.

Arad Evans Inn is an excellent special occasion restaurant. The vertical chocolate dessert is a chocolate lovers dream- belgian chocolate lace cages filled with chocolate mousse and seasonal berries, yum. We were a group of 12 so we were in one of the many private rooms upstairs. The staff are friendly and professional, often anticipating our needs without needing to ask. The grand cheese plate we ordered was unusual with many cheese compliments and local cheeses. We ordered a wide assortment of entrees, all were excellent. I highly recommend this place.

Delicious food, staff were all very courteous, professional, and helpful. The environment was very unique for a restaurant, I really enjoyed the room we were in because there were only 3 tables in the whole room! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because my steak was undercooked. I asked for medium well and it came out medium rare, and I wasn't even asked to cut into it to check when it was brought out. But the rest of my experience here was very good, I'll definitely come back for another fancy dinner out!

Visited Arad Evans Inn on a recommendation while visiting town for work. Very quaint little restaurant in a remodeled farm house with a lot of history! This place has an admirably classy feel about it, so if you're looking for a sports bar, keep looking. We were seated instantly and were had all of the great specials communicated to us and questions by the phenomenal staff. Can't say enough about how great the food was (I only wish I could recall the name of the marinated steak dish I'd had as the menu has since changed). Definitely hope to return again soon; thank you for the great dinner experience!

A special occasion place for my family. Here for Grandma's 80th birthday earlier this summer, I loved the halibut they had on the menu that night. Fantastic place. Thank you for a great experience.

Fresh, beautifully prepared and presented food. A great place for a special occasion. Make sure to save room for dessert! We prefer the ambience of the "bistro" side, though it can get a little noisy on a real busy night/time.

This is a classy restaurant with great food and good service. The atmosphere inside the 19th century home is very relaxing. It almost feels like you’re at a friend’s dinner party. There’s a nice wine selection and legit vegetarian menu. The fresh bread is incredible. I also liked the butter crunch salad and Kobe beef burger, though the sauce was a little too sweet. This is definitely the kind of place to celebrate a graduation, throw rehearsal dinner, go on a date or take out the family.

Delicious food! Great service too.. We had a small dinner party and we were given our own room. Our server was attentive and made sure our needs were met without being intrusive. I will definitely visit again!

My husband and I have eaten here an a few occasions and love the atmosphere in the bar area so we decided to eat here for our "date night". What a mistake! The lobster bisque and french onion soup were not worth the calories. We chose the small plates of escargot, brussel sprouts and sashimi tuna, all of which were over-flavored with butter based sauce with the exception of the tuna which was completely bland. The service was equally as bad. After serving our main meal, we were approached by our waitress one time and was asked how our meals were and then she rushed off. At that time, both of our wine glasses as well as our water glasses were completely empty and we were never asked if we'd like another drink or more water. Needless to say, we will not be visiting this restaurant again.

They accommodated our party of 25 with less than 24h notice. Service was amazing and the food outstanding. Everyone loved it and they made our special occasion truly unique. Highly recommend this restaurant and will be back in the future.

Always a great spot for dinner or just dessert. Extensive wine list and real espresso. Bartender Drew os great behind the bar and made our visit a pleasure as always.

For 2 ppl our bill was $197. For Valentines day we were sat in a tiny room that looked about 200 years old, had the stink of antiques and horrendously distasteful wallpaper to match. The room was upstairs and could only fit us and two other small tables. We sat next to two other couples. There was the most awkward and uncomfortable silence I've ever felt at a restaurant. We had to whisper the entire time because it was so uncomfortable.. Also, the price was outrageous. We had new england chowder that tasted like canned soup for the appetizer and "filet" for our entree. The steak was very cheap and chewy, tasted very much like a Salisbury steak- just a terrible tasting piece of meat. It was an absolute atrocity. I cant believe how bad they are ripping people off.

A beautiful 1840 house with an awesome bar. We had a private room upstairs. My steak was perfectly cooked and just so tender. Best dinner and an awesome dessert. Would go again!

I have enjoyed many fine meals at the Arad Evans over the years and was very surprised, two nights ago on our anniversary, just how much the quality has dropped. I’d be happy to overlook a number of details, such as having to remind the waitress that we actually did wish to be served the appetizers we ordered before the entrees. But I couldn’t hold back the experience of disappointment once my duck, ordered medium rare, was served well done, which I discovered after my first and only bite. I kindly mentioned this to our waitress and ate no more and was shocked to be charged $30 for the dish, no comp, no apologies. I left hungry, poorer, and nostalgic for the many years of good meals there.
